Ironton-Jackson tickets on sale

Tickets for Friday’s home football game between Ironton and Jackson are on sale at Bob Linn Sporting Goods and the high school auto tech building located behind the high school.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students. Friday’s game is homecoming with pre-game ceremonies.

Freshman game cancelled

The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ freshman football game with Johnson Central scheduled for Thursday has been cancelled due to a double booking by Johnson Central.

The freshman game on Oct. 13 with Portsmouth has been cancelled due to Portsmouth’s lack of numbers. However, the junior varsity game on Oct. 17 will be played but the game has been moved to Ironton.
