RACELAND, Ky. — Robert Eugene Virgin, 51, of Raceland, died at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky., on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011. He was the husband of Tammy Akers-Virgin, who survives. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with burial to follow at Hutchinson Cemetery in Boyd County. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday.
