PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association met last Tuesday at the Ironton Country Club’s clubhouse for their weekly golf session with Pat Riggs as the day’s hostess.

While enjoying homemade breakfast treats Riggs provided, the ladies were arrange into golf pairings and she announced the events to play for prizes.

A brief business meeting was conducted by chairman Pat Lambert. Members were reminded of the annual end of year potluck that will be held this Tuesday. Ladies will provided covered dishes.

The calling committee will remind those not present. The meeting time is the usual 9:30 a.m. with golfing for members, their guests and former members starting at 10 a.m.

Following play, members enjoyed lunch and Riggs announced the day’s winners: Betty Fraley, Georgia Willis and Joyce Lewis who won two events.

The next meeting on Tuesday will be the last scheduled for the nine-hole morning. Members are to check with each other to meet, weather permitting. There will be no hostess or business meeting.
