CHESAPEAKE — Senior Night proved to be a good night.

The Chesapeake Lady Panthers celebrated the seniors’ final game with a four-set volleyball win over the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings.

The Lady Panthers won 25-18, 24-26, 25-16 and a thrilling 30-28 score in the final set.

Sarah Rice had 10 assists and 10 points to lead a strong all-around effort by the Lady Panthers. Macy Allen had 7 assists and 8 points.

Amanda Ruffner recorded 13 kills, 4blocks and 7 points, Beth McWhorter had 7 kills and 15 points, Ashlee Miller added 4 kills and 2 points while Caitlin Heffner got 15 points and 2 kills.

Chesapeake (17-5) hosts River Valley at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, in the Division III sectional tournament.
