Darlene Wagner

Darlene Wagner, 85, of Ironton, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. She was the widow of Larry Wagner and was born in Ironton, the daughter of the late Art (Hog) Nance and Minnie McKee Nance.

She worked at the Wilson ball glove factory.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marcella Wagner and Verna Dalton.

Survivors include tow sons, Keith and Sharon Renae Layne of Ironton, and William (Bill) and Cathy Layne of West Palm Beach, Fla.

Grandchildren include Brett Layne, Brian Layne, Julie Layne, Jamie Layne, Bradley Layne, Nolen Layne and Casey Layne; and great grandchildren, Dustin, Damion, Shyann and Maybey.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Section 11, Woodland Cemetery with Randy Tate officiating. Contributions may be made to the Community Hospice Care Center, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101. O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Craig Kinney

PROCTORVILLE — The Rev. Craig Stephen Kinney, 66, of Proctorville, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was the husband of Judy Kinney, who survives. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today.

Cara M. Brown

WURTLAND, Ky. — Cara M. Brown, 92, of Wurtland, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Funeral services will be at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Ky., Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 6-8 p.m.
