Mark and Anke McCown, of Ironton, announce the birth of their son, William Finn McCown.

Finn was born July 1 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Dr. Ulrich and Irmgard Duerr of Biebertal, Germany.

Paternal grandparents are Terry and Eleanor McCown of Ironton.

He was welcomed home by his big sisters Annika and Marlena.
