ODOT seeks public input on future projects

As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation District 9’s Planning and Engineering Department, the environmental office is seeking public input on the following proposed projects.

— Lawrence – 522 – An emergency repair project to correct landslide damage to the highway. A 95-foot plug pile retaining wall be built along the east side of S.R. 522. The project also includes pavement, shoulder replacement and guardrail.

—Lawrence – 650 – An emergency repair project to correct landslide damage to the highway. The damage will be corrected with a bench excavation below the failed surface. The project also includes pavement, shoulder replacement and ditch grading.

Issues the public may wish to comment on include the effect of these project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources.
