Conveyance of prohibited items to detention facility — Lawrence County Jail, 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, inmate found during processing to have plastic glove finger stuffed with tobacco inserted into his rectum, Jeremy Stump, 32, Huntington, W.Va., charged.

Trafficking in drugs — 1000 block County Road 1, South Point, 6:11 p.m. Sunday, man reportedly selling drugs, Christopher S. Johnson, 30, 1097 County Road 1, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.
