Adrian Cremeans

Adrian Juanita Cremeans, 69, of Ironton, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Lawrence County native was born Nov. 16, 1941, the daughter of the late George and Ethel Pemberton Hardin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Cremeans, who died March 15, 2006.

Juanita attended Coal Grove Schools and was a former home health aide for Accent Home Health Care. She attended Community Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Dale E. Hardin, Jr.; a brother, James Graham; and a sister, Louise Davidson.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale E. and Rhonda Hardin of Coal Grove and James E. Jr. and Jami Cremeans of Ironton; four daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Mike Riffitt of Ironton, Linda and Jason Hurley of Scioto County, Lisa and Ray Cox of Ironton and Annetta and Bryan Wheeler of Kitts Hill; three sisters, Mary Anson and Peggy Starr, both of Ironton, and Betty Sexton of South Point; two brothers, Bill Hardin and Junior Hardin, both of South Webster; 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Friend officiating. Burial will follow in Community Cemetery and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

FLATWOODS, Ky. — Jean Redden, 80, of Flatwoods, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Graveside service will be at noon today at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tom Melvin. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today at Evans Funeral Home, Raceland, Ky.

 

William Ritchie

ASHLAND, Ky. — William Walter “Bill” Ritchie Sr., 66, of Ashland, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at his home. He was the husband of Irene Griffith Ritchie, who survives. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Evans Funeral Home, Raceland, Ky. Burial will be in Caroline Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

 

Gloria Palmer

GREENUP, Ky. — Gloria Gail “Sib” Palmer, 69, of Greenup, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. She was the wife of Theodore “Teddy” Palmer, who survives. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Peter Roar and Bishop Tim French. Burial will be in McGuire Cemetery, Greenup. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
