The Ironton Recreation Department will conduct youth basketball registration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at Bob Linn Sporting Goods.

Playoff tickets for the Chesapeake Panthers at St. Clairsville Red Devils game Saturday are on sale during school hours in the high school principal’s office and from 5-to-7 p.m. on Thursday.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $9 at the game. The school receives only a percentage of the presale.

Playoff tickets for the Ironton at Amanda-Clearcreek game Saturday are on sale during business hours until 3 p.m Saturday at Bob Linn Sporting Goods and during school hours until 3:30 p.m. Friday in the auto shop office behind the high school.

Marshall basketball

luncheons planned

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The year’s first Tip Off Club luncheon will take place on Thursday at noon at the Pullman Plaza Hotel in Huntington.

Join Marshall men’s basketball head coach Tom Herrion as he breaks down the Herd’s exhibition win over Northern Kentucky and talks about the upcoming season.

The lunches are open to the public and are the perfect place for you to pledge your support for Herrion and the Herd program.

There is no charge for Supreme and Cam’s Court members. The cost is $10 for Center Court members, $12 for Front Court members and $15 for guests and non-members. To become a member, contact the director of Big Green, Teddy Kluemper III at 204-696-3401 or sign up at the luncheon.
