Kentucky woman injured in Wheelersburg vehicle crash
WHEELERSBURG — A South Shore, Ky., woman was injured Saturday when she was struck by a dump truck on Ohio River Road.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said Barbara Collinsworth was trying to cross the road between Lowe’s and the Wheelersburg Flea Market when she was struck by a dump truck operated by Don Rose, of Bainbridge.
Collinsworth was airlifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va., where she is listed in serious condition.
Porter Township Emergency Medical Services and Fire Department assisted in the incident, which remains under investigation.
