Kenneth Kingrey
WILLOW WOOD — Kenneth E. Kingrey, 86, of Willow Wood, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Comer officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Kenneth was born Nov. 23, 1924, in Rappsburg, a son of the late William J. and Carrie Ellcessor Kingrey. He was a tax consultant, a World War II Army veteran, served as a Lawrence County Veterans Service Commissioner from 1999-2010, was Commander of VFW Post #2761, AmVets Post #141, and Waterloo Wonders American Legion Post #806, was past commander of American Legion Post #433, and member of New Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Ironton, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Kelly Kingrey; and his twin sister, Kathleen Holderby. Kenneth is survived by five children, Sharon K. Martin, William K. Kingrey, Judith A. Kingrey, G. Robert Kingrey, and Carol Ruth Kersey and her husband, Bob all of Willow Wood; six grandchildren, Eric L. Christian and his fiancée, Lisa Lewis, Joshua Kingrey and his wife, Tasia, James E. Owens, Jr., and his wife, Kym, Kali E. Komelski and her husband William, Rebecca Stapleton and her husband Thomas, and Jacob Owens; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Mitchell of Huntington, W.Va.; and a sister-in-law, Doris Kelly of North Carolina.

Ervin Sargent
RACELAND, Ky. — Ervin Sargent, 93, of Raceland, KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Ky. with a special friend Rev. Paul Neal and Rev. Ron Burger officiating. Justin Delawder
COAL GROVE — Justin Matthew Delawder, 19, of Coal Grove, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at his residence. The Huntington, W. Va. native was born April 7, 1992.
Justin was a 2011 graduate of Dawson Bryant High School, where he played football, basketball, baseball and track. He was also a member of the Southern Ohio Boxing Club.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Joann and Denny Greathouse, Charles Goody, and Earl Delawder; and two uncles: Marvin Spears and Rodney Spears
He is survived by two children, Justin Matthew Delawder II and Parker James Fleming; his mother, Angie Havens Greathouse of Coal Grove; dad, Michael Grady Greathouse of Ironton; dad #2, Craig “Spook” Hogsten of Coal Grove; father, Greg Spears of Ironton; seven sisters, Jamie Martin of Ironton, Crystal Yates of Ironton, Savannah Greathouse Sparks of Greenup, Ky., Kayla Howard, Megan Delawder, Kristen Delawder Johnson, and Brianna Spears, all of Ironton; seven brothers, James Wireman, John Michael Greathouse both of Greenup, Joshua Kelly, Scotty Spears, Brandon “Hoggy” Hogsten, Rodney Spears, Michael Skeeter Greathouse II, all of Ironton; maternal grandparents, Linda Ross and Homer Biars, both of Ironton and Roger and Ruth Havens of Port Clinton; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Gloria Spears of Ironton; also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton with Pastor Ray Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Maddy’s Cemetery and visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Daniel Rice
SOUTH POINT — Daniel Mark Rice, 48, of South Point, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, in Pensacola, Fla. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation is 30 minutes prior to the service.
Bill DeCamp
WHEELERSBURG — William James “Bill” DeCamp, 76, of Wheelersburg died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at SOMC Hospice. Born March 20, 1935 in Clermont County, he was the son of the late Thomas Lowe and Sadie Irene York DeCamp.
He was retired from N&W/NS Railroad where he was a dispatcher, was employed by Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home for the past several years, was a U.S. Army veteran, and attended First Church of Christ. He was a Past Master of Western Sun Masonic Lodge, a member of Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, a member of El Hasa Shrine and was a member of BRAC Union.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly Sue Cheek DeCamp; one daughter, Pamela Suzanne DeCamp Mallory; one granddaughter; three brothers, Thomas DeCamp, Donald “Butch” DeCamp, Daniel DeCamp, and two sisters, Judith DeCamp Arbaugh and Rebecca DeCamp Teagarden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy DeCamp Young and one brother, John DeCamp.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Randy Wickham officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Masonic services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Military graveside rites will be conducted. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Western Sun Masonic Lodge, First Church of Christ or SOMC Hospice.
Doris Bailey
Doris Bailey, 78, of Ironton, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at a local health care facility. Arrangements are pending at Phillips Funeral Home.
