Ironton in Bloom is offering two garden themed escorted tours in 2012.

IIB is a local volunteer group that works to make Ironton more attractive and colorful with plants, pots, planters and education. Ironton in Bloom is a 501 C3 nonprofit organization and a portion of the trip fees may be tax deductible.

— Discover the Biltmore Estate and Gardens of North Carolina, Saturday April 28-Sunday April 29, 2012. This trip includes roundtrip deluxe motor coach from Ironton and additional points, one- night lodging, admission and guided tours at the Biltmore estate and North Carolina Arboretum, two lunches and one breakfast. The trip also includes current taxes and fees and services of a tour escort. Total package price is $300 per person, two people sharing a room.

— The Gardens of Aloha air, land and cruise tour departs Thursday, Dec. 6 and returns Sunday, Dec 16, 2012.  The travel package includes roundtrip airfare to Honolulu, Hawaii, surface transportation, a two-night hotel stay in Waikiki, a seven-night Norwegian Cruise Lines Hawaiian Islands sailing and gardens tours in Honolulu and the neighboring islands.  Final rates will be available in early 2012.
