Noise — 1900 block South Third Street, 12:51 p.m. Sunday, neighbors playing music too loudly, advised.

Lost dog — 600 block South Sixth Street, 9:22 a.m. Sunday, black poodle missing.

Burglary — 2400 block South Fourth Street, 11:09 a.m. Sunday.

Possible burglary — 1500 block Karin Street, 12:04 p.m. Sunday.

Trouble — Karin Street, 1:52 p.m. Sunday, children causing trouble, grandmother advised.

 

Sheriff’s office

Kidnapping — Kmart plaza, Burlington, 1:10 p.m. Sunday, woman reportedly coaxed into vehicle by acquaintance, suspect allegedly refused to let her out of car, threatened her because she owes him money, victim freed upon officer’s arrival, David D. Craft, 38, 8130 County Road 1, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Incident — 1000 block County Road 14, Pedro, 10:10 p.m. Sunday, man allegedly hit, cut with knife, victim admitted woman hit him but denied cuts even though deputy saw visible cuts, according to reports. Diana Holstein, 38, 1079 County Road 14, Pedro, arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic — Union Township Sunday, Heather Hinkle, 29, 215 R Second Ave., Chesapeake, and Charles J. Hinkle, 33, Huntington, W.Va., arrested and taken to jail.

Underage drinking — Garnett Street, Proctorville 2:32 a.m. Saturday, six underage people allegedly found on residence intoxicated or under influence of drugs, one adult found passed out, home owners not home, parents called for juvenile, five juveniles taken home by parents, one sent to group home at request of mother.

Domestic — Fayette Township 9:31 a.m. Friday, woman locked out of house, grabbed by neck, punched in face, suspect named.

Burglary — Township Road 1078, South Point, Friday, medication taken.

Burglary — 4000 block State Route 141, Ironton, residence entered, nothing taken.
