The Churches of the Nazarene of Ironton are hosting a Christmas concert performed by the “Varsity Singers” from Ironton by the “Varsity Singers” from Ironton High School this Sunday evening, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. The concert will be hosted at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2318 S. Fourth. St., Ironton.

Rev. Wayne Young from First United Methodist Church will also be sharing a report on the Food Pantry that they operate and sharing their vision for that ministry. Their current budget averages $5,000 monthly to support needy families in the area. This is being done to raise awareness of the increased need of our local food pantries in the Ironton area.

The community is invited to attend this concert and asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the First United Methodist Church food pantry. Community support is invaluable and very much appreciated.

The three churches: Ironton First Nazarene, Faith United Nazarene, and Hanging Rock Nazarene are working together to assist and enhance other ministries of the Ironton community.
