The St. Joseph Junior Flyers rolled to a 50-12 win over the New Boston Tigers on Tuesday.

Zack McGraw, Alex Ward and Tim Dickess had 8 oints each and Judge Williams 6 to lead the Flyers.

Joey Bush, Blake Balestra, Trey Neal and Isaac Walker added 2 points each.

Thursday at Ceredo-Kenova, W.Va., the Flyers fell 63-15.

Neal had 11 points to pace the Flyers. Bush scored 2 while Ward and Dickess had one each.

The Junior Flyers play at Sciotoville East this Thursday.

 

 

 

 

Pointers’ 7th grade boys

fall to Huntington

SOUTH POINT — The South Point Junior Pointers struggled in the fourth quarter as Huntington (W.Va.) rallied for a 35-26 win on Tuesday.

Tanner Hall scored 13 points to pace the Junior Pointers.

Jayden Hayes had 11 for Huntington.

SOUTH POINT — The South Point Junior Pointers’ 8th grade split a pair of basketball games last week.

The Pointers beat Coal Grove 41-25 in an Ohio Valley Conference game on Monday.

Phil Kratzenberg had 10 points and D’Angelo Pallodino 9 to lead South Point.

In a non-league game on Thursday, the Junior Pointers lost 46-20 to Huntington (W.Va.) Middle School.

Eli Lucas and Reed Murnahan scored 6 points each to pace the Junior Pointers.
