Cutting meals program about pushing levy

In a recent Tribune article we are told the Meal on Wheels have been stopped, which has happened.
Well, before the election, if I understand what was said in the original article by the Ironton-Lawrence County Community Action Organization, they didn’t say that this program would be cut, but that they would add many additional programs and plus give more meals out to more senior citizens.
Therefore what I now think is that this Meals on Wheels have been stopped in order to get the levy back on the ballot for an upcoming election.
Since I was misled in the first place by telling me that there would be many additional programs for senior citizens, and now cuts have been made, I will no way support the levy in the future.
If we, the people, are misled in the first place, why should we think that the levy would be used for additional programs the next time around?
Just wait and see if this levy will be put back up for a vote in the near future.
