CHESAPEAKE — The Fairland Dragons seem to like the second half.

For most of the season, the Dragons find themselves in tight games at halftime but turn up their play in the second half.

The Dragons were at it again on Saturday as they outscored South Webster 36-13 in the second half and rolled to a 68-43 win over the Jeeps at the third annual Beast of the Southeast.

Leading 32-30 at the break, Fairland came out the second half and scored 14 unanswered points to built a 46-30 lead. Evan Salyers had 6 points in the run.

The Dragons were up 53-37 after three quarters and outscored the Jeeps 15-6 in the final quarter.

Salyers finished with a game-high 25 points to lead the Dragons (10-2). Evan Maddox scored 17 and Blaine Fuller added 11.
