Junior Flyers roll past

New Boston, 60-28

The St. Joseph Junior Flyers beat the New Boston Junior Tigers 60-28 on Wednesday.

Trey Neal had 15 points and Brad Rist 11 to lead the Flyers.

Also scoring for St. Joseph were Zach McGraw with 9, Tim Dickess 7, Joey Bush and Judge Williams 4 each, Blake Balestra 3, and Nick Ward and Isaac Walker 2 apiece.

St. Joseph hosts Hannan, W.Va., next Wednesday.

 

 

 

South Point 8th grade

posts pair of victories

The South Point Pointers 8th grade got a pair of Ohio Valley Conference wins by beating Rock Hill 31-27 and Coal Grove 51-26.

Phil Kratzenberg had 17 points in the win over Rock Hill.

Alex Nance led the Redmen with 10.

In the win over Coal Grove, 11 different players scored for the Pointers. D’Angelo Pallodino adn Stephen Wagoner had 8 points each while Reed Murnahan and Chris Woodard had 7 each.

Ray Brubaker and Lucas Campbell scored 8 each for Coal Grove.
