City leaders have to look for better answers

This letter is in regards to city council and “scrapping the reciprocity agreement.”
As was stated, they are the voice for the people, elected by the people. So why are some only speaking against the approximately 450 people this would affect? The working 450 pay enough already.
I am sorry, but this is not your answer. Go back to the table Kevin Waldo, Mike Lutz, Aaron Bollinger and Phil Heald, and think outside of the box. This idea that the few people who actually work and live in our city should pay for everything is being sounded throughout our country. It doesn’t work there and it shouldn’t work here.
Why not bring some businesses inside our city by giving them 20 year exempt taxes? The people they would employ would surely make up the difference. There has to be other answers.
