Criminal trespass — Burlington Walmart, 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, subject previously banned from all Walmart stores on premises, James Hay Jr., 37, 414 Ruppert Lane, Grayson, Ky., cited to court.

Criminal damaging — 30 Block of Township Road 1502, Chesapeake, 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, man alleged he and woman who was staying in his home were arguing, she allegedly broke his car’s window with hammer, Ruth Robinette, 43, 39 Township Road 1502, Chesapeake, arrested.

Petty theft, criminal trespass — Burlington Walmart, 10 a.m. Wednesday, woman allegedly concealed items in purse and left without paying and was previously banned from all Walmart stores, Amy Pennington, 28, 2421 S. Fifth St., Ironton, arrested.

— Robert Davis, 49, 50 Township Road 1128, Chesapeake, arrested Thursday for outstanding warrant by Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.

Suspicious people — 2500 block South Tenth Street, 1:22 a.m. Tuesday, two males in dark clothes and gloves walking near cemetery, negative contact.

Dog call — 300 block Batham Lane, 9:44 a.m. Tuesday, asked for dog warden, owner retrieved dog and was advised.

Theft — Fuzzy Duck parking lot, 12:57 a.m. Wednesday, computer stolen out of vehicle, information taken for report.

Prowler — 2200 block North Sixth Street, 3:17 a.m. Wednesday, subject coming to front door and trying knob, asking to be let in, officer searched area, negative contact.

Dog call — 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, dog running loose on Florence Avenue, officer checked but dog ran away.

Dog complaint — 1800 block South Eighth Street, 3:21 p.m. Wednesday, boxer running loose, giving mail carrier trouble, warden advised owner will bring officer next time.

Fight — Fourth and Ellison streets, 3:52 p.m. Wednesday, woman alleged grandson was attacked while getting off school bus, information taken for report.

Assault, theft — 200 block North Fourth Street, 6:11 p.m. Wednesday, report taken at station.

Shots fired — 900 block Center Street, 7:59 p.m. Wednesday, person firing gun behind Center Street Apartments, no shell casings found, negative contact.

Request extra patrols — 2700 block South Fourth Street, 10:16 p.m. Wednesday, reported hearing noises and person near car, information taken for midnight shift officer.
