It’s a chance to help children and veterans and to show some community pride.

Ohio University Southern will host a Bobcat Hustle 5K run, March 24, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Ninth Street entrance to Ohio University Southern. All proceeds go to the OUS Therapeutic Riding Program for children and veterans. This is the first year the school has hosted a 5K race.

“My personal goal is to see 100 people in our race but that might be over projecting for our first year. But we have to start somewhere,” said Jacki Adkins, assistant director of enrollment and student services.
