See ‘Footloose’ on March 28

ASHLAND, Ky. — This month’s Girls’ Night Out feature at Boyd County Public Library is “Footloose” on March 28.

The movie starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Main Branch, 1740 Central Ave. Admission is $2, or bring a food item to share. All money collected will be used to purchase pizza and other refreshments. Men are also welcome to attend, but the program is not intended for children.

“Footloose,” rated PG-13, is the 2011 remake of the 1984 film. The story is the same: City kid Ren MacCormack moves to a small town where rock ‘n roll and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit stirs up the town.
