Ironton Little League

camp set Saturday

The Ironton Little League will conduct a camp for boys and girls from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Youths should bring a glove, bat and wear long pants.

Fee is $20. Campers receive a T-shirt and pizza will be provided for lunch. The concession stand will be available. Entry forms are available at the Ironton city schools and Bob Linn Sporting Goods.

The camp will be conducted by the Ironton High School baseball and softball team members, former collegiate players, experienced coaches and the ILL board of directors.

 

 

Retirement dinner

A retirement dinner for coaches Bob Lutz and Mike Burcham will be held fromt 6-10 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Tickets are $30 each or $50 per couple. Proceeds benefit the Ironton Turf Project. Tickets are available at Ironton High School, Ironton Physical Therapy, Ohio River Bank and the school board office.

A 50/50 drawing will be held along with door prizes and auction items.

If anyone is unable to attend but would still like to make a contribution, tax deductible donations can be made payable to Friends of Ironton and mailed to P.O.
