Ironton police

Theft — 6:24 a.m. Wednesday, weed eater stolen, victim chased subject, subject got away, no location given.

Trouble — Quincy between South Fifth and Sixth streets, 7:52 a.m. Wednesday, woman trying to stop cars, negative contact.

Child Abuse — 10:49 a.m. Wednesday, woman wanted to speak to officer about her son being allegedly spanked severely by stepparent, information taken for report.

Dog call — 600 block Karin, 10:56 a.m. Wednesday, dog chasing people.

Breaking and entering in progress — Waldo Drive, 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, woman reported seeing her neighbor’s home being broken into, unable to locate subject.

Accident — Park Avenue and Park Drive, two vehicle accident, no injuries.

Unruly juveniles — 300 block Heplar, 4:52 p.m., about 15 children allegedly cussing and throwing things at vehicles, parents advised.

ATV accident — 900 block Park Avenue, 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, two people transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Vandalism — 2100 block North Fourth Street, 10:44 p.m. Wednesday, vehicle vandalized, information taken for report.

Noise Complaint — 900 block Center Street, 11:37 p.m. Wednesday, two boys outside apartment complex yelling and screaming, spoke to parents, children in now.
