Peyton Crisp

Peyton Lynn Marie Crisp, 16 weeks old, daughter of Shonda Rister and Roger Allen Crisp of South Point, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.

In addition to her parents she is survived by a brother, Ezeekual; her maternal grandparents, Elly and Jessie Estle of Kitts Hill; her paternal grandparents, Patricia and Donald Ross of Pedro; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Chapel with Pastor Willard Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradshaw Cemetery. Memorial donations should be made directly to the funeral chapel to help with final expenses. Friends may share condolences with the family on the Facebook page of the Brown Funeral Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the chapel. Her parents have entrusted her care to Brown Funeral Chapel.

Billy Bentley

Billy R. Bentley, Sr., 69, of South Point, came to rest, Friday, April 27, 2012, at Jo-Lin Nursing and Rehab in Ironton. He was born Aug. 17, 1942, in Floyd County, KY, a son of the late Homer and Rosina Bentley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Bentley and one brother, Homer Bentley Jr. Billy is survived by one son, Bill and Deborah Bentley, Jr. of Catlettsburg, Ky.; two daughters, Kathy and Danny Conley, Rose Bentley and D.J. Hickman both of South Point; one brother, Enoch Bentley of Ashland, Ky.; and eight grandchildren, Brett, Matt and Tyler Hackworth, Hunter Conley, Brad and Travis Bentley, Emma Rose and Jacob Hickman. Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point is handling the arrangements for the family. The family will have a private memorial service to honor their loved one.

 

Charles Callicoat

Charles Edward Callicoat, 64, of South Point, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. Memorial and Masonic service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Proctorville Masonic Lodge 55 F&AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
