Assault — 300 block Township Road 276N, South Point, 8:24 p.m. Saturday, man allegedly punched woman in the face, fracturing her cheekbone.

Theft — 70 block Township Road 1336, South Point, May 1, woman allegedly stole medication from mother, Barbara McCaffrey, 26, arrested.

Criminal trespass, possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments — May 1, woman trespassing at Walmart allegedly had hypodermic syringes, burnt spoons and marijuana, Jamie Welch, 28, of 1173 County Road 1 Lot 19, South Point, arrested.

Prowler — 500 block Patricia Drive, 3:32 a.m. Monday, negative contact.

Dog call — 600 block North Fifth Street, 1:08 p.m. Monday, stray dog chained, dog warden took dog to pound.

Traffic accident — Staley’s Pharmacy and Ninth Street, 4:05 p.m. Monday, citation issued.

Dog Call — 1100 block South Eighth Street, 4:50 p.m. Monday, dog hit by car, warden does not pick up injured animals.

Counterfeit — Wendy’s, 7:34 p.m. Monday, restaurant reported a counterfeit $10 bill.

Attempted break-in — 2400 block South Ninth Street, man allegedly trying to break into garage, negative contact.

Break in — 600 block Buckhorn Street, 11:38 p.m. Monday, woman reported five men allegedly tried to break into her house at gunpoint, information taken for report.
