Burglary — 900 block Center Street, 6:28 p.m. Tuesday.

Burglary — 1900 block South Fourth Street, 7:23 p.m. Tuesday, back door kicked in, suspects chased away by dog.

Theft — 1700 block South Fourth Street, 11:59 p.m. Monday, child’s bicycle taken.

Theft — CVS Pharmacy, 500 block Third Street, 3:22 p.m. Monday.

Domestic — 1700 block Campbell Drive, 11:15 p.m. Monday, Thomas J. Massie, 28, 1505 Lawrence St., Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

 

County jail

— Deaton S. Mason, 32, 1830 Ohio Furnace Road, Franklin Furnace, theft Monday by the Ironton Police Department.

 

Sheriff’s office

Driving under the influence, criminal damaging, felonious assault — Chesapeake Elementary School, County Road 1, 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, man allegedly assaulted another man and tried to run him off the road with his vehicle, resulting in crashing into another vehicle and hitting the fence in front of the school, BAC breath tested result was 0.10, Robert Simpkins, 45, 40 Township Road 124, Chesapeake, arrested.

Larceny — 80 block Private Drive 10472, Pedro, Sunday, firearms missing from residence.

Breaking and entering — 8000 block County Road 1, South Point, 3:55 p.m. Monday, tool box with miscellaneous tools taken from garage.

Robbery — Country Hearth Hotel, South Point, 12 p.m. Sunday, man allegedly took woman’s purse containing $900 cash, food stamp card and disability debit card.

Theft — 200 block County Road 17, South Point, 12:32 p.m. Monday, bush hog, three weed eaters and chain saw taken from residence.

Domestic violence — 900 block Gary Malone Street, South Point, 7:33 p.m. Monday, woman alleged sister hit her in the face.
