Rosemary Stanley

Rosemary Childers Stanley, 81, of Donelson, Tenn., passed away June 7, 2012. Rosemary was a teacher at Hermitage Elementary School for more than 35 years. She was a member of Andrew Price Memorial United Methodist Church, Sharers Sunday School class and the Donelson- Hermitage Neighborhood Association, Inc.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Stanley I, parents, John W. and Frieda William Childers; brothers and a sister.

She is survived by a daughter, Robin Stanley Suuqiina (Iglahliq); sons, John R, Staley, James Bruce Stanley II and Thomas Stanley (Tina); grandsons, Derrick Armand, Daniel Ferrell (Kelly), and Matt Stanley; granddaughters, Rachel, Savannah and Elizabeth Stanley and a host of other family members.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Andrew Price Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank Smith and the Rev. Melissa Derseweh. Burial will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138.

Martia C. Penix, 88, of Solomons, Md., formerly of Chesapeake, Ohio, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Solomons Nursing Center. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home.

 

Vivian Stewart

Mrs. Vivian Stewart, 86, of Ironton, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Funeral Arrangements are pending at the Tracy Brammer – Monroe Funeral Home.

 

Virginia Estep

Virginia Ann Estep, 78, of Ashland, Ky., died Saturday, June 9, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was the wife of Elvin Estep, who survives. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor J.R. Ferguson, Deacon Steve Fraley and Mikailyn Estep officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Ky. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
