PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club met as usual on Tuesday morning with Barb Holmes serving as hostess.

Holmes served delicious, colorful refreshments with a golf theme and then a business meeting was held. Pat Riggs announced the beginning of the Handicap Tournament for the next six weeks. Scorecards will need to be turned in to her following play.

Holmes then arranged golf partners for play along with announcing the events for prizes. Following play on the very humid day, lunch was served and the winners were announced: Rose Auble, Jane Mains and Georgia Willis.

Next week’s hostess will be Johnna Jones. New members are always welcomed.
