KSP busts meth lab

GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested a Greenup County resident for manufacturing methamphetamine in the area of Daniels Cemetery Road off of Whittier Road in Greenup, Ky. Monday, the KSP acted on a tip of a suspected meth lab at the residence of the suspect, John H. Gullett, 32.
Another person at the scene attempted to flee and was also arrested and charged with fleeing and evading 2nd degree. He was identified as Danny Patton, 30, also of Greenup.
Authorities reportedly located several items used to manufacture the illegal drug. Both subjects were lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.
Gullett was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful possession of meth precursor, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three bench warrants for failure to appear.
