SOUTH POINT — A 5K run to benefit an upcoming medical mission trip to Honduras is slated for Saturday at the Greater Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.

Proceeds from the 5K run will purchase supplies for a medical mission trip, organized by Jeremiah 38 Ministries.

St. Mary’s Medical Center physicians Dr. Tim Daly and Dr. Trey Blake are among the 21 people making the trip in late August.

Registration is at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
