Ironton police

Domestic — 900 block North Second Street, 6:31 p.m. Sunday, man reportedly threatened to tie with to bed and set house on fire, suspect left prior to officer’s arrival, later apprehended at local establishment, David Nance, 32, 909 N. Second St. R., Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Theft — 400 block South Eighth Street, 6:04 a.m. Tuesday, medication taken from car.

Vandalism — 300 block North Sixth Street, 9:53 a.m. Tuesday.

Theft — 400 block Walnut Street, 12:03 p.m. Tuesday, laptop taken.

Theft — 300 block Center Street, 1:01 p.m. Tuesday.

Theft — 900 block South Third Street, 1:49 p.m. Tuesday, impact wrench taken.

Theft — Pick N Save, Ironton Hills Shopping Center, 4:02 p.m. Tuesday.

 

Sheriff’s office

Theft — 3800 block State Route 243, Ironton 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, dirt bike taken.

Theft — Sam’s Club, Burlington 1:37 p.m. Monday, $2,907 in cash taken from various cash registers, suspect named, alleged confession obtained by store personnel.

Domestic — Lawrence Township, 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, woman reportedly menaced after she threw away can of soft drink, punched in face with closed fist, grabbed by hair of head, pushed down, household items damaged, 13-year-old-girl who tried to intervene grabbed by neck and thrown against wall, threatened, attempt to call sheriff’s office interrupted, other children at home at time of incident, Herschel R. Pancake, 37, 861 County Road 5, Kitts Hill, arrested and taken to jail.

Theft — 9200 block County Road 107, Proctorville, 3:47 p.m. Friday, tools and jewelry missing, possible suspect named.

Burglary — 1100 block County Road 1, South Point, 10:32 p.m. Sunday, shotgun, banjo, pistol, ammunition taken from residence.

Breaking and entering — Private drive 250, County Road 144, South Point, 1:16 p.m. Sunday, air compressor, mitre saw, other items taken.
