PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club met Tuesday, Aug. 7, with Barbara Holmes performing hostess duties.

The business meeting was held with refreshments served and the pairings for the first annual Classic Golf Tournament to be played that day along with special events.

The usual heat persisted throughout the morning as members enjoyed the comforts of the Pine Grove clubhouse to retreat to following play.

During lunch, Holmes announced the special event winners as: Georgia Willis, Johnna Jones, Cecilia Woods, Betty Fraley, Pat Lambert, Joyce Lewis, Becky Dillow, Nancy Livingston as well as Holmes.

Riggs followed with Classic Tournament winners: champion flight Dillow, first flight Riggs, second flight Lewis along with fourth flight Woods.

Last week’s hostess was Sharon Fox.
