Denise Loper and Mike Baum of Powell were married at 5 p.m. May 12, 2012, at St. Johns Island, Virgin Islands.

The bride is the daughter of Lois and John Baum of Ironton. She is the granddaughter of the late Rev. Irvin and the late Vesta Kelley and the late Eva and the late John Loper. She is a graduate of Ironton High School and Ohio University Southern.
