PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association met last Tuesday with Rose Auble serving as hostess, serving delicious homemade refreshments during the short business meeting.

Mother nature finally cooperated and provided a delightful day for golfing. Mrs. Auble paired the groups and selected golf events for the morning.

One of the members proudly shared the news that her husband recently got his sixth hole-inone at the Ironton Pine Grove Course.

So from the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association, congratulations Carlos Willis!

Following play those winning events were then announced by Auble and included: Johnna Jones, Joyce Lewis, Nancy Livingston and Jamie Dyer.

Pat Riggs reminded players to continue to post scores on the Ringer Tournament on Tuesdays, and the recent winners of the Handicap Tournament were Jane Mains, first-place, with Joyce Lewis as runnner-up.

Next week’s hostess duties will be performed by Cecilia Woods.

The ladies are planning an upcoming fun event along with plans for the end of the year fall outing and anual Christmas party celebration.
