The South Point Pointers got a variety of players scoring goals as they picked up a pair of soccer wins.

The Pointers blanked the Chesapeake Panthers 7-0 on Tuesday as Alex Whitt and Michael Lien scored two goals each. Lien also had two assists while Jesse Lien and Trey Kearns also scored goals.

Kearns added an assist along with Jeremiah Kipp and Andrew Edwards.

On Saturday, the Pointers posted another whitewash as they beat the Beaver Eastern Eagles 5-0.

Jesse Lien had a pair of goals while Sloan and Whitt had one each. Gage Stephens and Kearns each had an assist.

South Point goalkeeper Brady Rickard had three saves against Chesapeake and 12 against Beaver Eastern.

The Pointers (2-1) play at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at Portsmouth West.
