PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club met on Tuesday with Wanda Spears performing hostess duties.

While enjoying homemade refreshments the ladies met for a short business meeting. The upcoming ladies golf scramble will be during their usual morning golf outing on the second Tuesday of September.

Spears planned the golf events for the morning and arranged the group for tee off. Following the return to the clubhouse for lunch, Spears announced the winners for the day: Johnna Jones, Becky Dillow, Becky Fraley and Spears.

Next week’s hostess will be Fraley. Members continue to meet at 9 a.m. with events play starting at 9:30. New members are always welcome.
