Staff Report

PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club met Tuesday with Joyce Fields serving as hostess.

Fields prepared homemade refreshments for members to enjoy during the short business meeting.

A time change will occur next Tuesday with the business meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. and tee time to start at 10.

Pat Riggs announced the events and pairings for the day. Another two-person scramble was planned with groups of foursome. The group enjoyed the autumn season weather and the beginning of colorful changes in the countryside surrounding the golf course.

Following play and during lunch, those winning the events were Riggs, Cecilia Woods, Nancy Livingston and Betty Fraley. The two members winning the scramble were Woods and Riggs.

Next week’s hostess duties will be performed by Livingston. Plans will be made for the upcoming end-of-the-year golf outing with members and their guests.
