Although fuzzy on the details of his crimes, an Ironton man will spend the next three years behind bars.

Ronnie Rowe, 59, of 92 Private Drive 2562 County Road 22, pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated burglary stemming from a May 2011 incident.

In a negotiated plea deal, two counts of assault on a peace officer and one count of criminal damaging were dismissed.

“I’m sorry…” Rowe said before sentencing. “I can’t remember what happened.”

Judge Charles Cooper sentenced Rowe to three years in prison. Rowe’s attorney, Robert Krapence, told the court his client had 504 days of credit for time served.

In July 2011, Rowe pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity and Cooper asked for a mental evaluation of the man. In September 2011, an evaluation of Rowe from Court Clinic Services found that he was not competent to stand trial.

Rowe was admitted to Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare until he was found competent to stand trial. However, Rowe forwent a trial when he made his guilty plea.

In other cases:

• Michael Faulkner, 32, of 905 County Road 82, Kitts Hill, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree possession of drugs.

Cooper sentenced Faulkner to four years community control sanctions under intensive supervised probation, suspended his driver’s license for six months and ordered him to pay a $1,250 fine.

• Henry Runyon, 36, of 811 Township Road 161, South Point, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree possession of drugs.

Cooper sentenced Runyon to four years CCS/ISP, suspended his driver’s license for six months and ordered him to pay a $1,250 fine. He must also successfully complete the STAR Community Justice Center program.

• Kayla McGee, 25, of 279 Rotary Road, Huntington, W.Va., was arraigned on a bill of information of third-degree attempted burglary. McGee pleaded not guilty through her attorney Luke Styer.

Cooper set bond at $25,000 cash or surety and scheduled a pretrial fro Oct. 24.

• Christopher Rudmann Jr., 25, of 1724 S. Sixth St., Ironton, was arraigned on a bill of information of fourth-degree burglary. Rudmann pleaded guilty through his attorney Warren Morford.

Cooper sentenced the man to four years CCS/ISP and ordered him to be sent to the SEPTA Correctional Facility in Nelsonville.

• Robert Thacker, 54, of 404 Township Road 301, Ironton, was arraigned on a bill of information of second-degree complicity to illegal manufacture of drugs and misdemeanor inducing panic. Thacker pleaded not guilty through his attorney Warren Morford.

Cooper set bond at $50,000 cash or surety and set a pretrial for Oct. 24.

• William James Jr., 43, of 707 N. Fourth St., Ironton, was arraigned on two counts of third-degree domestic violence and second-degree resisting arrest. James pleaded not guilty through his attorney J.T. Holt.

Cooper continued bond from a lower court and set a pretrial for Oct. 24.

• Phillip O’Dell, 36, of 1311 S. Third St., Ironton, was arraigned on a bill of information and pleaded guilty to third-degree tampering with evidence and fifth-degree complicity to breaking and entering.

Cooper sentenced O’Dell to a total of three years in prison and ordered him to pay $450 in restitution to Tri-State Vault.
