Dottie White

Dottie Jean White, 65, of Franklin Furnace, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  She was born Jan. 27, 1947, in Lawrence County, to the late Bart Miller and Mildred Jackson Miller.  She was a former dietitian for Ohio River Valley Youth Center and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Walter “Pete” White whom she married May 11, 1987 in Waterloo.  Also surviving are two sons, William Keith (Melissa) Stepp and Michael White; two daughters, Shawna Mullins and Rosanne (Zack) Poe; three brothers, Wayne Miller, Mike (Dorothy) Miller and Jeff (Paula) Miller; four sisters, Sally (Wayne) Cauley, Kathy (Clay) Mitchell, Donna Bell (Wayne) Skaggs and Shelia (Jim) Ross; and five grandchildren, Keith Stepp, Brandon White, Madison Mullins, Lethan Poe and Mason Poe.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home with Pastor Emil Cartee and Mark Stapleton officiating.  Burial will be in Haverhill Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m. and one hour before the service on Thursday.

 

Floyd Bailey

Floyd “Pat” Bailey, 81, of South Point, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Hospice of Huntington in West Virginia.  Funeral services will be noon Friday at the Tracy Brammer – Monroe Funeral with Pastor Roger Pierce officiating.  Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Patricia Roberts

Patricia J. Roberts, 77, of South Point, wife of Ronald Roberts died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky. Arrangements are pending at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point.

 

Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Allen Franklin, 74, of Huntington, W.Va., died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was the husband of Karen Ann Franklin, who survives. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.timeformemory.com/hall.

 

Carl Snyder

Louise Pemberton
