Helen Angle
Helen R. Angle, 71 of Ironton, died Tuesday, Dec.11, 2012 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ironton native was born July 23,1941,the daughter of the late William and Agnes Lipker Rowe. She was a graduate of Ironton High School and attended Ohio University. She retired from the former First National Bank in Ironton after 31 years and from Walmart after 17 years of service Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law Steve and Jennifer Leach; two grandchildren Austin and Tyler Leach, all of Ironton; four brothers, William Rowe of Ironton, Jerry (Jo) Rowe of Ironton, Thomas (Bonnie) Rowe of Springfield and Ronald (Nancy) Rowe of New Carlisle; one sister, Sally Hargis of New Carlisle; two sisters-in-law, Clara Rowe of Ironton and Eleanor Rowe of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by one son, William Ralph Leach; two husbands, Steven B, Leach and Elmo Angle; five brothers, Ralph, Robert, Jack, James and Charles Rowe; and one sister, Johanna Rowe. Visitation will be on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be noon Saturday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home with Don Delawder officiating. Burial will be in Hecla Cemetery. Loretta Bunker
Loretta Kay Bunker, 71 of Ironton, passed away Friday Dec. 7, 2012, at her residence. The Lawrence County native was born March 10, 1941 the daughter of the late Harold and Rose Arthur Ashurst. She was the widow of the late Jack L. Bunker.
Loretta attended Ironton City Schools. She was a homemaker and a former glove lacer for Wilson’s Sporting Goods. She was of the Methodist faith. Loretta is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richie and Tammy Bunker of Ironton; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Jerry Rowe of Kitts Hill; daughter, Michelle Pancake of Ironton; two granddaughters, Taylor and Tori Pancake both of Kitts Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Marge Ashurst of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and sister and brother-in-law, Dona and Paul Gonzalas of Fairborn. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Woodland Cemetery with Pastor Tim Maddy officiating. There will be no public visitation and Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Oscar Meadows, 74, of Pedro, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at a local health care center. Arrangements are pending at Phillips Funeral Home.
