Col. Centennial Saturday

The Ironton Fighting Tigers had added Columbus Centennial to its boys’ basketball schedule.

The teams will play Saturday at the Ironton Sports Center.

The two teams will play a triple-header starting at 2:30 p.m. with a freshman game. The junior varsity and varsity games will follow.

Tickets for the first Ironton Athletic Hall of Fame reception and induction ceremonies are now on sale Tuesday at the Ironton High School Auto Shop and Iron City Hardware.

The reception will be held at approximately 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, in the high school cafeteria. Finger foods will be served.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the dinner. Tickets are good for admission to the Ironton Hall of Fame Basketball Shootout.

The Shootout has the Fairland Lady Dragons playing the Ashland Kittens at 2 p.m., the Ironton Lady Fighting TIgers face the South Point Lady Pointers at 3:45, and the Ironton boys against Akron Buchtel at 5:30 p.m.
