Heather Friend and Shane Bridges of Coal Grove announce the birth of their first child, Bailee Grace Bridges, born at 8:41 a.m. Jan. 16, 2013, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces and was 18 inches long.

Bailee is the granddaughter of Charlotte and Jerry Brown of Coal Grove and Judy and Richard Bridges of Kitts Hill.

She is the great-granddaughter of Shelby Jean and Curt Friend of Ironton and George and the late Evelyn Cutters of Pedro.
