The St. Joseph Female Flyers celebrated senior night with a 19-1 win over Hannan, W.Va.

Haley Glockner got the win and went 2-4 at the plate. Maria Walters was 3-3, Ashley Priode was 2-4, Glennie Hopkins was 2-5 and Cecili Weber 1-1. All five are seniors.

Earlier in the week, the Female Flyers lost 10-6 to New Boston after losing 26-4 earlier in the season. Morgan Mahlmeister pitched well in a losing effort. Allison Scaife and Glockner went 2-4.

“We played pretty aggressive. We had one bad inning,” said St. Joseph coach Frank McClellan.

St. Joseph lost 25-1 to Sciotoville East. Walters and Hopkins were 1-3.

In a 9-0 win over Grace Christian, Glockner picked up the win and was 1-3 at the plate.

Sydney Payne went 2-5, Hopkins 1-1, Scaife and Priode 1-3 and Rachel Martin 1-4.
