Two men were arrested in Ironton Thursday following an ongoing investigation into the sale of cocaine and oxycodone.

The Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force and the Ironton Police Department arrested Chris Brown, 36, of Cincinnati, and John Spencer, 19, of Ironton, at the intersection of Chestnut and South Ninth streets in Ironton.

During the arrest, officers seized 9.3 grams of cocaine and more than $1,100 in cash.

The men were arrested as a result of secret indictments by a Lawrence County Grand Jury.

Also arrested was Megan Lewis on an unrelated Ironton Municipal Court warrant.
