Jim was born Nov. 6, 1932, in Ironton, where he graduated from Ironton High School. Additionally, he attended Ohio State University, the Wisconsin School of Banking and American Institute of Banking along with numerous banking institutions of higher learning.
Jim’s career in banking spanned 43 years all with Bank One Corporation (and its predecessor First Bank Group). Prior to retirement he also assumed the role of chairman of the board of this bank retiring in 1995.
Jim cared very deeply about the communities in which he lived. Starting with his time in Columbus these included Kinder Key and Vaud-Villities Productions.
