IRONTON — The City of Ironton will perform maintenance on the Indian Hills Pump Station starting on Wednesday.

The work will require a valve closure that will temporarily shut off water service to parts of the city including State Route 141, Zenith Heights, Indian Hillls and service connections south of Pine Street.

The water system will be depressurized at 10 p.m. Wednesday and restored by 6 a.m. Thursday. There will be a boil water order for at least 24 hours for those affected areas.
