PROCTORVILLE — A Willow Wood woman is dead following an early morning single -vehicle crash.

Tosha N. Christian, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on State Route 775, approximately seven miles north of Proctorville, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at approximately 2:11 a.m. today. Troopers from the Ironton Post say Christian was northbound on State Route 775 when she lost control of the 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier she was driving. The car slid off the right side of the road, overturning multiple times.

The car then came to rest in a creek with Christian partially thrown from the car. She was the only occupant in the vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt at the time.
