Lady Wildcats at 2 p.m. and the nightcap at 4 p.m. has the host Coal Grove Lady Hornets going against Fairview in its second game of the game.
There will be a breakfast with Santa at 10 a.m. followed by the River Battle. The day will be capped by the Coal Grove boys’ junior varsity facing East Carter, Ky., at 6 p.m. with the boys’ varsity game at approximately 7:30.
Coal Grove Lady Hornets’ head coach Rick Roach is hoping to increase the River Battle field next year tentatively set for Dec. 13. Any teams from Ohio, Kentucky or West Virginia interested in participating should contact Roach at (740) 532-6451.
Conflicts in scheduling caused the River Battle to offer only three games this year.
